Established in 1995
My name is Miriam Maldonado and I have a dream. “My dream is that public preference changes
back from synthetic to more sustainable and natural”. For thousands of years, soap was made in
every household in the traditional way, by combining fats with ask and rain water. The resulting soap
was harsh, but over the centuries soap was improved and transformed. Soap making was introduced
in France in the 13 th century, and it was the French who devised a method of making soap from
olive oil and also learned to make perfumed soap through the floral infusion of fat. Synthetic soap
was first introduced in the United States around the 1950’s and slowly the “new” soaps became
popular and infiltrated the market. In recent years, the milder, natural soaps made with a
combination of oils, are becoming more popular. Traditional soap-making processes is gaining
popularity and we need to preserve, protect and value this old craft. I would like you to be a part of
my dream through your support.

Soap Making is an Art
There is something magical to experience the process of transforming just a few common
ingredients into something special. Our soaps are made with pure olive oil, coconut oil, butters and
essential oils. Every bar of soap is different because is handmade. They are nourishing, moisturizing,
and a delight to use.
Our family has been making soaps for personal use for years. Once we started handcrafting soap, we
didn’t want to go back to using the commercially manufactured kind that has detergent as the main
cleansing ingredient.

Charcoal and Peppermint
Our soap makes your skin feel fresh and film free. The formula contains 50% pure olive oil,
coconut oil, shea butter, castor oil, vitamin E, rosemary extract, essential oils, and cosmetic micas.
That’s it! They lather beautifully and gently clean the skin without drying.
Shea Butter Verbena
Enriched with shea butter, celebrated for its softening and nourishing properties, our lusciously scented lemon verbena soap, comfortably cleanses the skin while enveloping it with rich fruity notes.
Citrus Delight
Our citrus delight soap bar is scented with a blend of four different citrus fruit essential oils featuring grapefruit, and is a delight to use. As with all our soaps, our formula includes a 10% shea butter to add additional moisturizing properties of the soap.
